WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

We ask that our guests please stick to a semi-formal dress code. Think florals, pastels, and light, breathable fabrics; perfect for a spring garden wedding in Georgia! There will be A/C, but please keep in mind that the venue is semi-outdoors.

Semi-formal styles include maxi, midi, or tea-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suites (no tie required), or sport coats. Feel free to wear color and patterns, please just avoid white.

Please come in something you love and feel comfortable in!

Are there any colors I should not wear?

You’re welcome to wear any color, except plain white! The wedding party doesn’t have an assigned color palette, so no need to worry about matching or clashing with bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Are patterned fabrics with a white background okay?

Yes, patterned fabrics with white backgrounds are fine as long as the pattern is clearly dominant and the white doesn’t read as a solid white block in photos. If your outfit looks mostly white from a distance or in pictures, please choose something with bolder color or contrast.

What will the terrain be like?

The parking lot is gravel, then a short walk leads to the venue, which has brick pavers and smooth floors. Wedge or block heels will be most stable; thin heels are fine but may feel less secure on gravel or pavers.

Are ties required?

No, ties are not required. However, if you’d like to wear a tie or bow tie, please feel free to do so.
